Lady Tiger head coach Greg White said the tournament Saturday was a great experience for his club.
“We were the smallest classification school in the tournament and we played all 6A schools and a large 5A school,” White said. “We had an opportunity to go to a different tournament this weekend and play schools our size but we felt that playing bigger schools and tougher competition would help us out more in the long run.”
White said his Lady Tigers had good moments and bad moments throughout the whole day.
“At times we did some real good things and at times we did not,” White said. “Our competition had a lot to do with that also. We are still having some issues with our serves but we will continue to fix that.
“Overall this tournament was a good thing for us. It showed us what we can do if we put our minds to it and it also showed us what can happen if we don’t.”
