JDCC volleyball now 2-9 overall

In their recent stretch of games, the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball team went 1-5 to drop their overall record to 2-9.
The Lady Warhawks lost to Snead State 3-1, Gadsden State 3-0 and Lawson State 3-2 before defeating Wallace State Selma 3-0.
JDCC then lost to Wallace State Hanceville 3-0 and Gulf Coast 3-2.
Snead State 3, JDCC 1
JDCC lost the first set to Snead 27-25 and took set two 25-15 before losing 25-14 and 25-19 to lose the match 3-1.
Latoya Wright led with 12 kills, 26 attacks and two blocks and Laney Barr led with one service ace.
Amber Broughton led with 17 digs and Jakiaria Boyd led with one ace and two blocks.
Gadsden State 3, JDCC 0
JDCC lost 25-12, 25-13, and 25-9 to Gadsden State. No stats for JDCC were available at press time.
Lawson State 3, JDCC 2
Against Lawson State, JDCC took set one 25-22 but lost set two 25-23.
In set three, JDCC won 25-21 before losing 30-28 and 15-11 in set five to drop the match 3-2.

JDCC 3, Wallace State Selma 0
JDCC defeated Wallace State Selma 3-0 to improve to 2-7 overall.
JDCC won in straight sets 25-11, 25-18, and 25-15.
Boyd led with 11 kills and 18 attacks and Kaylee Bradley had five service aces and one block along with Chelsey Slone and Caitlin Hall.
Amber Broughton led with 16 digs in the win.
Wallace State Hanceville 3, JDCC 0
Against Wallace State in Hanceville, JDCC dropped straight sets losing 25-13, 25-13, and 25-15.
Casey Perkins led with six kills and Boyd led with 14 attacks. Barr had two aces and Broughton had 14 digs. Boyd also led with one block.
Gulf Coast 3, JDCC 2
Against Gulf Coast, JDCC dropped to 2-9 as they lost 3-2.
JDCC took set one 28-26 but lost set two 25-14. In set three, JDCC won 25-20 before losing 25-23 and 15-8.
