Brewton Police have located a man reported missing Friday near the Brewton Heights Shopping Center.

Durron Williams, 30, was last seen Thursday around 10:30 a.m. near the Brewton Public Library, according to Sgt. Bryan Davis with the Brewton Police Department.

Davis said a search for Williams today ended Sunday afternoon when the man was found in a wooded area near the Brewton Heights Shopping Center.

“He has been taken to D.W. McMillan Hospital where he is being evaluated and treated,” Davis said. “At this point he is alive, but we are not certain what medical problems he may have until he is evaluated by doctors.”

Davis said the investigation into Williams’ disappearance is continuing.
