Mrs. Sarah Lucille Blair Beasley, 79, of Crook Road, died Thursday, June 2, 2011 in a Fernandina Beach, Fla., hospital after a brief illness. She was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. She was a member the Grace Baptist Church in East Brewton, and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles Franklin Beasley of East Brewton; three sons, Royce (Linda) Beasley of Riverview, Russell (Geraldine) Beasley of Wallace, and Ronald (Teresa) Beasley of Florida; three daughters, Janice Beasley, Sue (Lavon) Hodge and Phyllis (Earl) Fuqua, all of Brewton; a brother, Ellis (Dot) Blair of Berrydale, Fla.; three sisters, Ollie Mae Cooper and Pearline Busby, both of Brewton, and Rogene Stokes of East Brewton; nine grandchildren, Nicole Jordan, Riley Beasley, Russell Beasley, Jr., Terry Beasley, Beverly Sneed, Randy Beasley, Ashley Douglas, Amanda Sapp, and Brenda Fuqua; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 4, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 5, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Oglesbee and the Rev. Richard Southern officiating. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
