The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball team picked up a 3-1 win in their season opener Saturday at the University of Mobile.
The Lady Warhawks, who have 14 players on the rosters and 13 freshmen, lost game one 25-20 before winning their next three to get the win.
JDCC won game two 25-15, game three 25-16 and game four 25-23.
In the win for the Lady Warhawks, Jennifer Daniels led the Lady Warhawks with 11 kills and 32 total attacks.
Flomaton’s Tara Gafford had six service aces and three blocks along with Hanna Anderson.
Shelby Widenhamer led with 10 digs in the win.
JDCC was set to be back in action Monday at Wallace State Selma at 6 p.m. and will return to action Thursday, Sept. 1 at home against Gadsden State at 6 p.m.
