JDCC volleyball falls to Wallace State-Hanceville

In a home conference game Thursday against Wallace State-Hanceville, the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawks dropped their 10th straight game to fall to 1-10 overall and to 0-5 in conference play.
JDCC lost 3-0 to Wallace State-Hanceville lost set one 25-21, set two 25-19 and set three 25-18.
In the loss Thursday, Flomaton’s Sarah Steele led with six kills and 21 total attacks. Amber McMillan and KiKi Youngblood had two service aces each and McMillan led with 11 digs.
Flomaton’s Tara Gafford added two solo blocks in the loss.
JDCC will be back in action at home Tuesday in a conference game with Wallace State-Selma. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Warhawk Gym on the campus of JDCC in Brewton.
