Nathan Ed Davis celebrated his 90th birthday on Sept. 2, 2011. Charles and Linda Davis hosted a party for the honoree at May Creek Methodist Church on Sept. 4.
During the celebration, guests shared a meal and reminisced with Davis and his family.
Davis’ granddaughter, Tracy Davis, presented the honoree with a scrapbook that covered his life, including 20 years in the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II and Korea.
He is a native of Pace, Fla., moving to Brewton in 1936. He and his wife live on Ridge Road.
