Mrs. Velma Jean Taylor, 64, of Hillview Drive, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at a Pensacola, Fla., nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native and longtime resident of Brewton, before moving to Pensacola, 3 1/2 years ago.  She worked in the Deli department at Walmart for a number of years and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two brothers, James R. Parker of Pensacola, and Bernell Parker of Mississippi; two sisters, Aline Ots and Eloise Thomas, both of Pensacola; nephews Ivan Blackmon and Elmer Martin; Nieces, Janet Bowers, and Teresa Sphor.
Memorial services will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Friday, March 23, at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Don Cox officiating and Craver’s Funeral Home directing. Please share your memories and condolences with the family at www.craversfh.com.
