The T.R. Miller JV softball team will hold a tournament Saturday, March 25 at the Brewton YMCA Sports Park.
Along with T.R. Miller, Escambia County, Jackson, Jay, W.S. Neal and Daphne will take part.
T.R. Miller will be in pool A with Escambia County, and Jackson while W.S. Neal will be in pool B with Jay and Daphne. Escambia County and T.R. Miller will play at 9 a.m. along with Jay and W.S. Neal while Escambia County and Jackson and Jay and Daphne will play at 10:10 a.m.
At 11:20 a.m., Jackson and T.R. Miller will play while W.S. Neal and Daphne will tangle.
A break will be held from 12:30 to 1 p.m. and the single elimination tournament will begin after the break.
Pool A’s No. 2 will play pool B’s No. 3 at 1 p.m. while Pool B’s No. 2 will play Pool A’s No. 3. Winners will then advance to play the No. 1 seeds at 2:10 p.m. with winners from that game to play at 3:30 p.m. for the championship.
In varsity action Friday night at home against Jay and Montgomery Catholic, T.R. Miller will have their annual pink night game. The team and coaches will wear pink jerseys and fans are encouraged to wear pink as well. Donations will be accepted for the T.R. Miller Relay for Life team.
Game time is set for 4 and 7 p.m. at the Brewton YMCA Sports Park.
