Mrs. Mary “Lucille” Poyner Clark, 87, of Willow Lane died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at a local nursing home after a extended illness. She was a native and life long resident of Brewton. She was a member of The Full Gospel Community Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Clark; her daughters, Betty Louise Cain and Anna Belle Clark; a brother, Oscar Poyner; and a granddaughter, Kara Clark.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy (Sylvia) Clark and Ronnie (Mary) Clark, both of Brewton; a daughter, Marie (Ron) Howard;10 grandchildren, Heath Madison, Heather Kirkland, Ashley Clark, Darren Cain, Tammy Ragan, Steven Clark, Angela Lane, Melanie Allen, Mitch Howard, and Ryan Howard; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 26, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Earnie Calhoun officiating. Burial followed in Travis Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
