Leamon ‘Bud’ Lemiul Dyal Jr.

Mr. Leamon “Bud” Lemiul Dyal, Jr., 80, of Roby Street, died Wednesday April 4, 2012 in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and former resident of Lake Butler, Fla., before moving to Escambia County, in 1954. He was a member of East Brewton Methodist Church, an U.S. Air Force veteran having served in the Korean Conflict, a member of the American Legion, a former employee of St. Regis Paper Company, and a retired chief digester operator from Container Corporation with 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by, a daughter, Gloria Branson; a brother, Leon Dyal; a sister, Geneva Johnson; a stepson, Michael Dewey Hernandez.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Kay Martin Dyal of East Brewton; three sons, Robert Leamon Dyal of Jay, Fla., Larry Fleming of East Brewton, and Greg (Cindy) Fleming of Brewton; a daughter, Lucille (Dutch) Laddusaw of Dixonville, Fla.; a brother, Leon Dyal of Kingsland, Ga.; a sister, Geneva Johnson of Kingsland; eight grandchildren, Deanna Laddusaw Hart, Darrell Dean Laddusaw, Jr., Kristy Dyal, Oscar Carter, Charles Scarbrough, Krystal Kelly, Shon Fleming, and Mercedes Fleming; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 7, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Earnie Calhoun and the Rev. George Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
