James Edward Howington Sr.

Mr. James Edward Howington, Sr., 72, of Zion Hill Road, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and former resident of Conecuh County, and a long time resident of Escambia County, Ala. He was of the Holiness faith and a retired supervisor from the T.R. Miller Mill Company Box Factory with 45 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Hart Howington of Castleberry; two sons, Ed (Renee) Howington Jr. and Daryl Howington, both of Castleberry; a brother; four sisters; two grandchildren, Amanda Howington and Patricia Emmons; and three great-grandchildren, Jantzen Case, Kaleb Emmons, and Calee Emmons.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 24, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bryan Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Condolences may be sent and obituaries can be read at williamsmemorialchapel.com.
