Mrs. Sharon Diane Brantley McCurdy, 62, died Friday, May, 4, 2012 at her residence after a brief illness.
She was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County, and was a retired certified nursing assistant.  She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and attended the Brewton Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Cardwell Brantley; and a brother, William Charles “Willie” Brantley Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Mike McCurdy of Riverview; her father; Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Brantley Sr. of Brewton; two sons; Greg McCurdy of Riverview, and Lance McCurdy of Mobile; brothers; Shawn Brantley of Pace, Fla., George Brantley of Appleton, and Steve Carpenter of Brewton; sisters, Dee Pittman of Pace, Rachael Taylor of Mobile, Susan Stout of Brewton, and Shirley Presley of Milton, Fla.; and her stepfather, John C. Dixon of Mobile.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 7, at Brewton Pentecostal Holiness Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Byrnes Pitts and the Rev. Lennie Howard officiating.  Burial followed in Mt.
