Mrs. Deborah Lynn Sheffield Romero, 51, of Old Fannie Road, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a extended illness. She was a native of Pensacola, and a long time resident of Flomaton. She was of the Catholic faith and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jody Romero. She is survived by two sons, Chris Romero of Flomaton, and Jesse Romero of Louisiana; a daughter, Stephanie Romero of Flomaton; a brother, Jim Sheffield; a sister, Pat Woods of Mississippi; and her father-in-law, Gene Macks of Brewton. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 8, at 2 p,m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. David Dykes officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
