Mr. Kenneth D. Moore, 41, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Atmore. He was a native of New York and a resident of Bay Minette. He was a corrections officer at Alabama Department of Corrections and is preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Moore. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Gail Howard Moore; a son, D.J. Howard; a daughter, Dejia Moore, all of Bay Minette; his mother, Dorothy Oates Moore of Brewton; three brothers, John Lovelace, Robert Moore and Michael Moore, all of Buffalo, N.Y.; a sister, Jacqueline Stevens of Brewton; an aunt, Patricia Moore of Buffalo; three uncles, John (Marilyn) Fanning of Buffalo, Jerry (Evelyn) Fanning of Andalusia, and Johnny McCreary of Pensacola, Fla.;several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services were held Monday, May 21, at 4.p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with the prison chaplain officiating and Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
