Mr. Herbert Moore Shipp, 84, died May 30, 2012 at a local nursing care facility. He was a truck driver by trade.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Shipp of Castleberry; a son, Kelvin Shipp of Castleberry; two daughters, Deborah (Earl) Bell of Repton and Randa (Johnny) Blackmon of Castleberry; a brother, Lawrence Shipp of East Brewton; a sister, Florence Kimbro of Pensacola, Fla.; three step-grandhildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1 at 11 a.m. from at Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Castleberry followed by burial in the church cemetery with Cope Funeral Home of Evergreen in charge of arrangements.
