Henry Buford Kast

Mr. Henry Buford Kast, 75 of, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native and life long resident of Conecuh County, and of the Pentecostal faith. He was retired from Rainbow Paint Company and was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Myrtis Kast, and a son, Philip Kast.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sallie D. Kast of Castlberry; one son, Wendell (Charlene) Kast of Castleberry; two half-brothers, James Kast of Castleberry, and Donnie Kast of Evergreen; one sister, Tina Caffey of Fairhope; a half-sister, Carolyn Laster of Castleberry; two grandchildren, Courtney Kast, and Ayanah Johnson; a step-grandchild, Nigel Freeman; two step-great-grandchildren, Roxas Freeman, and Weaver Freeman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 9, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Russ McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at London Baptist Church Cemetery in Castleberry, with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
