Mrs. Annie Stallworth Moore, 88, died June 1, 2012. She was born to the late Sam Stallworth and Katie Hagan Stallworth Lambert in Beatrice. She moved to Repton and worked at Dr. Carter’s hospital for many years as well as Repton School. She was united in marriage to Robert Charles Moore Sr., in 1964. she later moved to Brewton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Moore Sr., a daughter, Dorothy Stallworth; a son, Samuel P. Moore; a sister, Sadie M. Nicholson; and a brother-in-law, Willie Nicholson.
She was a member of the Mt. Rose Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children, Joyce Ann Green of Repton, Fred Stallworth of Akron, Ohio and Robert Moore Jr. of Brewton; 21 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and  friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 7 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Rose Missionary Baptist Church in Repton with the Rev. Derek Files, church pastor, officiating. burial followed in Mt. Rose Baptist Church Cemetery in Repton.
