Mr. James Morey Martin, 74, of Hideaway Bay Drive, in Miramar, died Monday July 16, 2012 in a Fort Walton Beach, Fla., medical facility after a brief illness. He was a native and a long time resident of Brewton. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brewton and retired salesman from Keego Brick.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Martin; a daughter, Mary Catherine (Michel) Lombard of Saint-Gély-du-Fesc, France; a son, Boyd (Daphne) Martin of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Jamie (Sean) Dietrich of Santa Rosa Beach; and his grandsons, Claude Lombard, Finlay, Seals and Luke Emanuel Martin.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Brewton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, at First Baptist Church of Brewton with the Rev. John Finklea officiating,  Burial will follow at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of choice.
