Mr. Milton “Mitt” Carr Sullivan age 81 of West Cleveland Avenue in Castleberry passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 at his residence. He was a native and long time resident of Castleberry. He was a graduate of Castleberry High School, a graduate of Troy State University, a former Castleberry City Council member and a retired Castleberry postmaster with 23 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Drew Sullivan; three daughters, Starlinne (Jerry Garrett) Sullivan of Brewton, Marcia (Dwayne) Godwin of Louisville, NC and Mary Sullivan of Castleberry; two sisters, Evelyn Bower of Mobile, Alice “Petie” (JA) Mosley of Stapleton; six grandchildren, Jaimie Garrett, Michele Harper, Shannon Robinson, Lucas Godwin, Samantha Godwin, Asia Sullivan; five great grandchildren, Cade McCarley, Garrett McCarley, Jadin Harper, Christina Robinson and Tyler Robinson.
Memorial services will be held Friday, July 20, from 4 until 6 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
