James Wayman Ansley

Mr. James Wayman Ansley, 51, of Union Springs, died Friday, July 20, 2012 in a Montgomery hospital. He was a native of Fort Eustis, Va., and was raised and went to school in Rock Hill, S.C. He had been a resident of Union Springs, for the past four years, coming from Corpus Christi, Texas. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, was a member of the V.F.W., and was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife, Alisa Fay Ansley of Union Springs; one son, James Aaron Ansley of Corpus Christi, Texas; and one brother, Lee Ansley of Rock Hill, S.C.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 24, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Harris officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
