Mrs. Ruby Stanton Dixon, 91, died July 22, 2012 in Atmore. She was a native of Robinsonville, and a resident of Canoe. She attended Canoe United Methodist Church and she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Dixon.
She is survived by two sons, Roger (Susan) Jansen of
Robinsonville, and David (Mary) Dixon of Brewton; a daughter, Melissa Murph of Bay Minette; three grandchildren, Josef (Lori) Murph, Joshua Murph and Ashley Keough; two step-grandchildren, Wendy Maddon and Keela McNeal; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday, July 23, at 11 a.m. at the Canoe Methodist Cemetery with the Rev. John Stacey officiating and Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home of Atmore, directing.
