Mr. Kenneth Roy Thomas, 61 of Jay, passed died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a native and former resident of Brewton, before moving to Jay, 27 years ago. He was a member of Golden Memorial Holiness Church, a 1969 graduate of W.S. Neal High School, and was employed as an oil field supervisor. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Thomas Jr.; father-in-law, Charlie Foster; mother-in-law, Ina Foster; a brother, Ed Mack Thomas and a sister, JoAnn Steele.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Foster Thomas of Jay; a daughter, Nanci (Marty) Kent of Huxford; a son, Jeremy Alford (Patty) Thomas of Daphne; his mother, Annie Laura Thomas of Brewton; a brother, Mike (Gina) Thomas of Brewton; four grandchildren, Colten Kent, Cody Kent, Kimber Alford, and Anisley Alford.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 2 p.m. at Blackwater Baptist Church in Munson, Fla., with the Rev. Andy Boutwell, the Rev. Alton Nixon, and the Rev. Bill Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Foster Cemetery in Munson with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Wendall Thomas, Doug Foster, Dean Foster, Dale Foster, Don Foster, Timmy Foster, Stewart Vance and John Watson
