Annie Ruth Pettis Johnson

Mrs. Annie Ruth “Ruthie” Pettis Johnson, 84 of Appleton Road, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at a Milton, Fla., health care facility after an extended illness.
She was a native and life-long resident of Castleberry and was a homemaker. She attended the House Of Prayer Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Johnson.
She is survived by three sons, Jimmie (Mahaley) Johnson, Kenny Johnson and Wade Johnson of Castleberry; two daughters, Dot (James) Dewberry of Brewton, and Pam (Randy) Bradford of Castleberry; a brother-in-law, Teddy Johnson of Castleberry; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 2, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Brother Nathaniel Roach and Brother Jim Parkerson officiating. Burial followed in Cooper Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
