Mrs. Annie Laura Wilson Paul, 94, died Aug. 30, 2012. She was a native of Newton County, Miss. She was a faithful member of Spiritual True Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Queen Ester Wilson and James Commander Alexander Wilson; her husband, Aaron Paul Sr.; and her children, Lenzie Simon Paul, Robert James Paul, Annie Lois Paul, Aaron Paul Jr. and Bettye Jean Paul; and her brother, Woodrow Wilson.
She is survived by her children, Sammie (Pearlie) Paul of Theodore, Rose M. (A.J.) Evans of Brooklyn, N.Y., Wiley A. (Ernestine) Paul of St. Peter’s, Mo., Wayne G. (Verlinda) Paul of Atlanta, Ga., and E. Michelle (Kenneth) Jimmerson of Montgomery; her 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister-in-law, Alfretta Smith of Hempstead, N.Y.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m. at Christ Kingdom Ministry Center with Bishop Herman Bradley officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
