Mr. Marcus Carmichael, 52, of Panama City, Fla., died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012. He was a native of Brewton, and a member of the Soggy Bottom Hunting Club. He was president of DMR Consulting Inc. since 1998. He was preceded in death by his father, Elvin Ray Carmichael.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn Carmichael; his daughter, Rachael Marie Carmichael; a son, Ryan Marcus Carmichael of Panama City Beach, Fla.; his mother, Carol Carmichael of Brewton; a brother, Randall Carmichael of Houston, Texas; and his grandmother, Rosa McGhin of St. Mary’s Georgia.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 4 p.m. at Kent Forest Lawn Chapel with Pastor Allen Newton officiating. A time of fellowship for family and friends will be held from 6-8 after the service at the Lyndell Center, at 423 Lyndell Lane on Panama City Beach.
