Mr. Gillard Martin Roberson Sr., 72, of Elberta, died Friday, Sept.  28, 2012 at his residence. He was a native of the Pineview community and worked in the construction industry as a self-employed home builder. He was a resident of Elberta for 12 years coming from Gulf Shores, and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a son, Gillard M. (Jill) Roberson, Jr. of Elberta; two daughters, De Vester R. Thomley of Robertsdale, and Donna Sue Roberson of Walchula, Fla.; a sister, Shirley Connell of Foley two grandchilden and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home chapel with Brother, Charles Dugger officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery near Flomaton with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
