JDCC volleyball drops two games to Gadsden and Sneads

Facing off against Gadsden State and Sneads State in two separate conference road matches Tuesday, the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball lost both matches to fall to 5-10 overall and to 2-5 in conference play.
JDCC lost to Gadsden State 3-0 and to Sneads State 3-1.
Against Gadsden State, JDCC lost set one 25-14, set two 25-18 and set three 26-24.
Against Sneads State, JDCC lost set one 25-16 and set two 25-14 before winning set three 25-19 to cut Sneads’ lead to 2-1. In the fourth set, JDCC lost 25-13 to drop the match 3-1.
Other stats and information from JDCC’s two games were not available as of press time.
JDCC was set to host Gadsden State Thursday in Brewton and will be back in action Monday at home against Faulkner State.
Game time is set for 6 p.m. Monday and will be a conference game for the Lady Warhawks.
