Maria Del Rosario Rosales Salazar

Mrs. Maria Del Rosario Rosales Salazar, 80, of Century, Fla., died Nov. 1, 2012 at her home after an extended illness. She was a native of Piedras Negras Coahuila, Mexico, and a resident of Century since 1970 coming from Eagle Pass, Texas. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rafael Salazar Ramos, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Rafael Salazar, III, and Reynaldo (Nadia) Salazar, both of Flomaton, Roberto Salazar of Los Angeles, Calif., Ricardo (Gloria) of Orange, Texas, Raymond Salazar of Pensacola, Fla., Reynaldo (Nadia) Salazar of Flomaton, and Rolando Salazar of Century, Fla.; daughters, Rosa Elena Chandler of San Jose, Calif., Maria Del Rosario Brown of McCullough, Orsaura (Robert) Newton of Flomaton, Rita Maria (Kevin) Lee of Pensacola, Fla.; brothers, J. Antonio Rosales, and Jose M. Rosales of Eagle Pass; a sister, Anita R. Gonzales of Eagle Pass; 24 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m. at Little Escambia Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Hogg officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
