Mrs. Brenda Joyce Miller Graves, 71, of the Foshee community died Sunday, Dec. 16, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Ashford, a former resident of Birmingham, for many years, before moving to Brewton, in 2002. She graduated high school in Chiefland, Fla., and was a homemaker.
She is survived by husband, George Pete Graves of Brewton; a son, Chuck Graves of Brewton; two daughters, JoAnna (Tommy) Tanner of Trussville, and
Donna Graves Fansler of Birmingham; a sister, Laura Nell Reeves of Newberry, Fla.; four grandchildren, David Tanner, Kristi Tanner, Shyenne Fansler, and Gabe Fansler; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 20, at 11a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Speakers Joe Chavers and Susan Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
