Brewton residents along a three-street path may see some changes in their water supply over the next week, thanks to work being performed by the Brewton Utilities Department.
Ray Madden, director for the department, said residents in the areas of Lovelace Avenue, Conley Avenue and Evergreen Avenue could see some periodic outages in their water supply beginning Friday morning. Outages could occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through the coming week, he said.
The outages that may be experienced due to ongoing work planed in the area reaching from Ramada Inn to the CSX railroad in the downtown area.
Madden said residents should be patient while work is performed and asked residents along Douglas Avenue to report outages to the department at 809-1780.
