William ‘Bill’ Hascue Lowe

Mr. William “Bill” Hascue Lowe, 88, of Appleton Road, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native of Garland, and a fomer resident of Mobile, before moving to Brewton.He was a member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran, and retired from Alabama Power. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Lowe; two sons, James Lowe and William Lowe; four brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Cain Lowe of Brewton; a step-son, Jerrel (JoAnne) Cain of Brewton; a step-daughter, Judy (Ronnie) Hudson of Brewton; a sister, Mamie Hansford of Columbus, Ohio; two grandsons, Chad Lowe, James Lowe; five step-grandchildren, and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Bruley and the Rev. Clifton Buchanan officiating. Burial followed at 2 p.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mobile, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
