JDCC baseball swept by LBW

The struggles for the Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk baseball team continued Saturday at LBW in Andalusia as the Warhawks were swept by the Saints to fall to 9-13 overall and to 2-6 in conference play. The loss for JDCC was their sixth in eight games.
JDCC lost game one 10-0 and took a 3-1 loss to LBW in game two.
In game one, JDCC was held to only three hits in the 10-0 loss.
Hunter Myrick, Logan Hill and Alex Jones all had hits with Hill having a double.
Mitchell Peterson took the loss on the mound for the Warhawks. Peterson went four innings and allowed seven hits, four runs, three earned, walked one and struck out none.
Both teams were held scoreless through the first three innings before LBW scored three runs each in the fourth and fifth innings and four runs in the sixth inning.
In game two, JDCC once again was held to only three hits in a 3-1 loss. JDCC made five errors in the loss.
Kyle Freeman was 2-for-3 in the loss with two doubles and one RBI. Matthew Holmes was 1-for-2.
Tyler Murphy took the loss on the mound going 5 2/3 innings and allowed four hits, three runs one earned, walked and struck out three.
