JDCC baseball drops conference game at FSCC Saturday

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk baseball team fell to 10-20 overall and to 2-13 in conference play Saturday as they took a 12-2 loss to Faulkner State in Bay Minnette.
Mark Humphreys, Kyle Freeman, Alex Jones, Matthew Holmes and Logan Hill all had hits for JDCC with Humphreys, Freeman, Jones and Holmes having one RBI each.
On the mound, Tyler Howell took the loss going 4 2/3 innings and allowed 10 hits, six earned runs, walked one and struck out three.
John Williams went the final 1 1/3 innings and allowed one run.
JDCC will play at home Thursday when they host Bishop State for a nine-inning conference game at 1 p.m. The two teams will meet Saturday at noon for a nine-inning and seven-inning doubleheader.
