WSN softball beats Central 3-1

The W.S. Neal Lady Eagles earned their second straight win Tuesday as they defeated Central 3-1 on the road.
The Lady Eagles, now 10-8, overcame a 1-0 deficit with three runs in the fifth inning to get the win by two.
Kaitlin Hadaway went the distance in the circle for the Lady Eagles of East Brewton to get the win. Hadaway gave up eight hits and one run while striking out four and walking one.
At the plate, Kena Ellison went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Kaeli Brown had a hit and an RBI. Haleigh DuBose added a double for the Lady Eagles and Tiffany Sawyer and Karissa Johnson were both 1-for-3 at the plate in the win.
W.S. Neal is scheduled to host T.R. Miller Thursday in an area varsity game at 4 p.m. JV is scheduled to play at 6 p.m.
