Organizers of the first Kick It At The Creek event said the party in the park was a “big success” with nearly all of the 800 pounds of crawfish eaten at the event.

Members and leaders with the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsors for the event dished up crawfish, potatoes and corn to those who came to the park for an evening in Brewton.

Michael McGilvary provided music for the event singing original tunes and covers of great country artists during the two-hour event.
