Sixteen baseball players from the Brewton area will compile the 2013 version of the Brewton Advanced Babe Ruth team.
The team will kick off their season on Thursday, June 6, with a game against Covington County on the campus of LBW in Andalusia.
The team is tentatively scheduled to play in four games and four tournaments including the state tournament at seasons end in Mobile.
The team will play two games in Brewton at T.R. Miller High School’s baseball field.
The first home game is set for Tuesday, June 18 against Covington County. Game time is set for 6 p.m. in Brewton.
The 2013 Brewton Advanced Babe Ruth team features local high school players from W.S. Neal and T.R. Miller.
Players on the 2013 roster include: Brandon Carmichael, James Peach, Ryan Hunt, Tyler Reid, Caden Lodge, Taylor Elliot, Zac Griffin, Rob Jones, Tyler Joyner, Caleb Dickey, Tyler Peebles, Newt Lambeth, Monterrious Culliver, Trey Weeks, Tripp Vickery and Matthew Chavers.
The team is coached by Steven Dickey.
