James Edwin ‘Blue’ Bush

Mr. James Edwin “Blue” Bush, 94 died Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Bay Minette. He was a life long resident of the Brewton area. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and later worked as a civil servant at Brookly Field. He was a member of McLelland Assembly of God and was preceded in death by his wife, Athalone Rackard Bush.
He is survived by a son, James Robert (Natalie) Bush of Scottsboro; two daughters, Theresia Ann (John) Furgeson of Mobile, and Cathy (Danny) Bailey of Brewton; twelve grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m until service time at 1 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Mr. Michael Bush, and Mrs. Kim Twitchell officiating. Burial with military honors, will follow at Bethel Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
