Samuel E. ‘Sam’ Palmer

Mr. Samuel “Sam” E. Palmer, 79, died May 11, 2013 at his residence after a short illness. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1956. He graduated from Veterans Trade School and was employed at Container Corporation of America for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Delanie Palmer; a sister, Pauline (Polly) Henley; and a son, Doug Noah.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances (Faye) Palmer; his sons, Joe Noah, Jack (Judy) Noah and Greg (Ann) Noah, all of Georgia; a daughter, Veronica Noah, of Mass.; a brother, Harold Palmer and Annette, a sister, Margaret (Jerry) McRae, all of Brewton; three grandsons, five nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 15, from 2 to 3 pm with a memorial service at 3 pm, at Bradley Assembly of God Church, at 16350 Bradley Road, Wing, with Williams Memorial Chapel
