Winton ‘Jack’ Smith

Winton “Jack” Smith, 76, of Smith Road in Castleberry died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his home after a brief illness. He was a native and life long resident of Castleberry and was a retired maintenance work with the City of Brewton with many years of service; was previously employed with Sonny’s Service Station in downtown Brewton for many years; and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Emmie Middleton Smith of Castleberry; one son, Stephen (Louann) Smith of Castleberry; three daughters, Jackie Wilson of Castleberry; Pam (Michael) Wilson of Gantt; Debbie (Mike) Casalinviao of Dozier; one brother, Joel Smith of Atmore; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 20 in the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home in Brewton.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 20 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home, with Brother Frankie Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home Inc., in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Terry Cain, Trent Smith, Derek Smith, Terry Haveard and Jessie Haveard.
