Mrs. Lillian Elizabeth “Beth” Kirkus, 65, of Tallassee, died Saturday, July 6, 2013. She was a former resident of Brewton before moving to Tallassee several years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lillian Stacey; a sister, Joyce Stacey and a brother, Kenneth Stacey.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Kirkus; a son, Von (Emily) Kirkus; a daughter, Joyce (Mike) Webb; her grandchildren, Sarah Beth Kirkus, Scott (Heather) Nelson, Asa (Jeannie) Kirkus, Aaron Kirkus, Sally Matlock, Grace Matlock and Elizabeth Ann Webb; two great-grandchildren, Allen Nelson and Avery Nelson; a brother, John (Janice) Stacey; a sister-in-law, Eva Jean Stacey; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday, July 9 at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
