Mr. Lewis “Blondie” Peters, 86, died July 10, 2013. He was a native of Wicksburg, and a longtime resident of Gonzales. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of Plainview Baptist Church and an employee of St. Regis Paper Company for 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Allie Peters; a daughter, Jan Hodson; a granddaughter, Dawn Schwartz; a great-granddaughter, Amanda Schwartz; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 13, from 11 a.m. until service time at 12 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home in Cantonment, Fla. Burial will be held at Damascus Cemetery near Brewton, at 2 p.m. with Faith Chapel Funeral Home directing.
