Mr. Robert Vann “Robbie” Marshall, 34, died Saturday, July 6, 2013, in Tennessee. He was a resident of Athens, and a former resident of Roanoke. He was born in 1978, the son of Robert Jordan and Theresa Jean Langley Marshall. He was the owner/operator of Athens Tire and Automotive Repair in Athens
He is survived by his parents, Bobby (Renee) Marshall of Brewton, and Theresa Daniel of Athens; a daughter, Alexis Martin of Athens; two sons, Cody Marshall and Colton Marshall, both of Athens; grandparents, Vann and Shelby Langley of Wedowee; two sisters, Sandy Marshall-Hipple of Auburn and Jordan Marshall-Weems of Pensacola, Fla.; and two brothers, Justin Marshall of Brewton, and Josh Daniel of Athens.
Graveside services were held Friday, July 12, 2013, at 1 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Brian officiating and Caleb Calhoun delivering the eulogy. and Quattlebaum Funeral Home directing.
