The mother of a teenager killed in a Monday evening wreck on Travis Road in East Brewton was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder, a day after the driver was jailed on the same charge, state troopers said.

Angela Robinson, 36, of Brewton, was a passenger in the truck that overturned when it left the road. Earl Dickerson, 33, of East Brewton, was the driver. Both remain in the Escambia County jail, according to authorities.

Nicholas Robinson, 13, was killed. A second child was injured and has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Alabama State Troopers said they are continuing to investigate the accident.
