Mr. Donald Randolph Jernigan, 70, of Friendship Road, died Saturday, August 2, 2013 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native of Pensacola, Fla., and a life long resident of Flomaton. He had been employed at Container Smurfitt with 41 years of service, and a member of the First Friendship Babtist Church of Flomaton.
He is survived by a son, Randy (Stacey) Jernigan of Andalusia; a daughter, Donna (Anthony) Hill of Andalusia; a brother, Bill Jernigan of Flomaton; two sisters, Faye Selman of Forsyth, Ga. and Joy (Ed) Bray of Fayetteville, Ga.; four grandchildren, Cody Hill, Cameron Hill, Samantha Jernigan, and Shelby Jernigan; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 7 , at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Henry officiating. Interment will follow in Pollard Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
