Margaret ‘Morris’ Smith

Mrs. Margaret “Morris” Smith, 90, died Friday, August 30, 2013 in Waynesboro, Miss. She was a native of Brewton, and a resident of Little Rock, for the past 20 years. She was active in Dorcus Relief and attended the Seventh-Day Adventist in Quitman, Miss. Her husband, Edwin Smith; sisters, Flora Black and Linda Morris; and a brother, Buddy Morris, precede her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Eddie Smith and David Joseph Mitchell Smith, both of Little Rock; a daughter, Elsie Mae Smith McCullough of Matherville, Miss.; three brothers, Billy Myrick, Mack Myrick and Aaron Myrick, all of Little Rock; two sisters, Mary Jo Myrick Ray of Little Rock, and JoAnn Morris of Las Vegas, Nev.; eight grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 1, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in Atmore, with Brother Phillip Roberts and the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.
Burial followed at the Little Rock Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Kevin Ray, Lynn McCullough, Larry McCullough, Lee McCullough, Luke McCullough and Lonnie McCullough.
