Mrs. Zena Elizabeth “Liz” Bishop age, 78, died September 16, 2013 in Pensacola, Fla., after a brief illness.

Mrs. Bishop was a native and life long resident of Brewton. She was a homemaker and was a member of Shady Grove Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and the Rev. Lottie Mae Spear; her husband, David Bishop, and a daughter, Regina Wilson.

She is survived by a son, Anthony Barron “Tony” (Jan) Bishop of Waynesboro, Miss.; two sisters, Mary Nell (Pete) Godfrey of Brewton and Charlotte (Russell) Hammac of Dadeville; four grandchildren, Brent (Shannan) Bishop and Cory Bishop, of Waynesville, Miss., Ryan Madden and Amy Madden of Brewton; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Madden and Greyson Bishop.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Turner officiating. Burial followed in Beulah Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
