Jeffery Scott Herndon

Mr. Jeffery Scott Herndon, 44, of Brewton, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital. He was a native of Pensacola and had been a lifelong resident of the Brewton area. He worked in the construction industry and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Muriel Beth Hendon.
He is survived by his father, Bud (Jean) Herndon of Barnett Crossroads; two sons, Scotty (Toni Johnson) Herndon and Zachary Kyle Herndon, both of Brewton; one brother, David (Robyn) Herndon of Barnett Crossroads; two sisters, Kelli (David) Carter of Brewton, Stephanie (Terry) Steel of McCullough; one grandchild, Kailee Herndon; nephews Tyler Long, Austin Long and Maddox Herndon; a special friend, Shalaina Kimmons.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Craver’s Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
