East Brewton police are asking those attending the Battle of Murder Creek football game at W.S. Neal Friday night to park at First Assembly of God in East Brewton.

With construction under way at W.S. Neal High School, parking at the church will help alleviate problems, East Brewton Police Chief Kenny Brazile said.

Shuttle busses will take people to the stadium from the church parking lot, Brazile said.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at W.S. Neal.

The winner of the game — which played by the cross-town rivals for more than 50 years — will receive the Battle of Murder Creek traveling trophy on the field Friday night.
