Virginia Adelle Estes Boothe

Mrs. Virginia Adelle Estes Boothe, 90, of Milton, Fla., died on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at The Terrace at Ivey Acres Assisted Living Facility in Jay, Fla.
She was a native of East Gadsden and had lived in Detroit, Mich., and Marrieta, Ga., before living with her parents while her husband served his country in World War II. After his return, they settled down in the Georgetown community of Mobile and ran Boothe Dairy and later Virginia ran Boothe Grocery.
Mrs. Boothe was preceded in death by her husband of 49 1/2 years, Alex Zander Boothe Jr.; her parents, S.A and Virginia Estes; sister, Azul Pruitt; brother, Ray Estes and wife, Vishy; grandson, Samuel Eugene Jennings; great-grand-daughter, Anna Grace McMath, several brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws and one very special brother-in-law, Mayo Boothe.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth E. (Gloria) Boothe of Pensacola, Fla.; daughters, Sylvia (Jerry) Jennings of Cantonment, Fla., Betty (Mondal) Miller of Columbia, Miss., Joy (Roger) Rowell of Berrydale, Fla., Andra (Joe) Mize of Flomaton; grandchildren, Daniel (Krickette) Jennings of Corpus Christi, Texas, Debi Jennings (Keith) Tucker of Cantoment, Fla., Wayne (Angela) Miller of Elkridge, Md., Boothe Miller of Sandy Hook, Miss., Kenneth Boothe, Jr. of Tampa, Fla., Chad (Jessica) Rowell of Milton, Fla., Misty Rowell (Joey) McMath of Pace, Fla., Rhett (Lana) Rowell of Jay, Fla., Rebekah Mize (Ronnie) Fore of Flomaton, Amy Mize (Josh) Bell of Brewton, Jonathan (Morgan) Mize of Pace, Samuel (Camie) Mize of Flomaton; 15 great grandchildren; special sisters-in-law, Fay Gavin of Mobile and Toni Boothe of Clarksville, Tenn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel from 6 until 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Gandy officiating.
Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Chunchula.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Boothe’s grandsons.
